In the fourth quarter of 2024, the photo and video app landscape in Mexico saw notable activity across the top platforms. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

YouTube experienced fluctuations in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $838K in mid-December, while weekly downloads saw a significant increase, reaching about 185K in late December. Active user numbers remained high, averaging around 80M throughout the quarter.

Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor showed a varied performance. Weekly revenue peaked at $293K in early December, before declining to about $150K by the end of the month. Downloads saw a decline from around 237K at the start to 118K by the end of December. Active users also decreased, starting at over 9M and falling to approximately 5.9M.
